Independence & funding
PepCred is completely free and takes no money to change a score. Independence is the entire point, so we protect it in code: no payment field can touch a score, rank or confidence grade.
Completely free
NowThe public checker and evidence receipts are free to use. PepCred currently has no subscriptions, sponsorships, affiliate links or paid placements.
No commercial relationships
NowWe have no paid relationship with any vendor, lab, telehealth service or advertiser. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed right here — and it will never touch a score, rank or confidence grade.
Possible professional products
FuturePepCred may later charge professional users for monitoring, alerts, bulk screening, evidence exports, API access or commissioned research. Payment would buy workflow and access—not a rating, removal, endorsement or favourable finding.
What we will not do
We do not sell favourable ratings, expedited positive treatment, company-page removal, reputation management or sponsored ranking. We do not run seller affiliate links or advertising on the public checker.
The hard rule
No commercial relationship of any kind changes any score, rank or confidence grade. This is enforced in the scoring code, which has no access to any payment or commercial field. See the methodology.
Conflicts of interest
The publisher and responsible editor must disclose any financial, employment, advisory, family or litigation interest that could reasonably be seen to affect a named assessment. A conflicted reviewer cannot make the final publication decision. A material conflict will be stated on the affected page; if it cannot be managed, PepCred will not publish the assessment.
Company participation
Companies may provide records, correct errors and exercise a right of reply without paying. Supplying evidence does not guarantee a higher score: it must pass the same entity, identifier, source and recency checks as evidence found independently. See the corrections process and editorial standards.
